The Family Medicine Residency Program at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC FMRP) is seeking an OB fellowship trained physician to join our team. Our mission is to serve our ethnically and economically diverse communities and prepare our residents to be well-rounded physicians and community advocates. Established in 1997, the FMRP is sponsored by PVHMC hospital and has a complement of 6 residents per class.
PVHMC is a 427-bed community hospital and has been named one of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals in the nation by Newsweek and Statista for the second consecutive year. We have the 3rd highest number of deliveries in Southern California, with 5,000 deliveries in 2024. It is a tertiary care center for OB with a large Neonatal ICU and 24 hour laborist for back up coverage.
This opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to teach residents as part of the Maternal Child Health Faculty as well as build a thriving Family Medicine practice. We are looking for candidates with a commitment to resident education. Interested applicants should have a strong desire to provide excellent patient care, teach residents and medical students, provide inpatient supervision, and manage relevant administrative responsibilities.
This is a full-time position offered through Premier Family Medicine Associates, the medical group that employs the faculty for the FMRP. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package which includes, but is not limited to funding for medical licensure, ABFM certification, DEA and annual CME.
