A leading hospital in southwestern Kansas has an opening for an OB/GYN to assist their team.

Opening Details:

• Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 7a-7a
• Setting: Outpatient and inpatient; Level II NICU
• Annual Deliveries: 600
• Daily Patient Volume: 16-25 in clinic, 3-6 inpatients
• Patient Population: Adult and adolescent
• All OB/GYN procedures required, including c-sections and hysterectomies
• Team Structure: OB/GYN, midwife, and family medicine OB
• Support Staff: Lab tech, LPN/LVN, MA, x-ray tech, RN, and CRNAs; NNP and neonatologist in NICU
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered OB/GYN Kansas state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as an OB/GYN
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
