A leading hospital in western Texas has an opportunity for a Pediatric Urologist to assist their team with ongoing locum coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 2 weeks per month
• Overnight beeper call shifts required
• Setting: Clinic and OR
• Patient Census: 15-20 per day
• Support Staff: APPs, nurses
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, hike rugged desert trails with sweeping views of two countries, explore remote canyons, and ride a scenic tramway to a mountaintop overlook.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Internal Medicine Urology Texas state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as a Urologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
