Urology Locums Physician - Alabama

Ongoing Urology assignment in Alabama starting this fall, with inpatient and outpatient mix plus fast-tracked credentialing.

Highlights:

• Start as early as September; temp privileges available
• Level III trauma center
• Ongoing assignment with open dates

Practice Setting:

• Mix of clinic, hospital, and OR; no supervision required
• 20 patients per shift, rounding on assigned/unassigned
• Privileges at both hospital and surgery center required
• 3 beds in the department, full office and MA support

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Scheduled clinic/OR time + shared beeper call
• Call response time: 30 minutes, callback rate ~25%

Cases and Procedures:

• General Urology including ureteroscopy, ESWL, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy
• Adult-only population
• Renal and bladder ultrasound required

Requirements:

• Board-certified or board-eligible (within 5 years) in Urology
• Active Alabama license or IMLC-eligible
