Description

Locums OB/GYN in Mississippi with 24 hour offsite call coverage on select weekends, low monthly delivery volume and straightforward L&D with C sections.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient L&D coverage with occasional emergency GYN consults
• Volume averages 25 to 30 deliveries per month, 7 to 10 are C sections
• Postpartum and GYN census typically 0 to 3 patients
• Support includes OB nurse, pediatrician, and CRNA
• Epic for charting

Schedule

• 24 hour offsite call, must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
• Upcoming needs include late July and late August, with potential for additional weekends as the schedule opens

Cases and Procedures

• Routine L&D management and vaginal deliveries
• C sections as needed
• Occasional emergency GYN cases

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Board Eligible within 5 years accepted
• Mississippi medical license
• Open to IMLC Physicians
