Job Summary:

As a Business Continuity (BC) and Crisis Management (CM) Consultant, you will be an individual contributor responsible for providing consulting on corporate business continuity, working across the company to perform tasks to support the BC and CM program to internal stakeholders. You will demonstrate your business and technical acumen to recommend and implement solutions to protect the company’s assets.
In addition to supporting the BC team execute run the business activities associated with the BCM lifecycle activities, this position will be responsible for managing the record of systems (Archer, Noggin) and ensuring they are user friendly.
You will manage the supplier and technology gap assessments which requires working closely with business units to assess any identified deficiencies and escalate of deficiencies as necessary. This work requires the basic familiarity and understanding of risk evaluation concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and foster strategic partnerships with cross-organizational business areas across the enterprise to improve coordination in planning, response, and recovery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the business to identify improvements to the BC system of record (Archer) and implement system changes.
  • Ensure CM and BC system of records are updated with appropriate information.
  • Develop and maintain training materials
  • Perform supplier gap assessments and articulate results to the business.
  • Enhance and perform technology gap assessments.
  • Assist with crisis management activities and documentation updates.
  • Support client leads in developing BC program materials.
  • Develop and present metrics to business unit coordinators.
  • Support as needed during crisis events (e.g., participate in response and recovery activities, document lessons learned and identified gaps).
  • Identify root causes of key risks to resiliency and escalates issues.
  • Interpret industry best practices and changes to associated regulations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data management, cloud base solutions, mainframe, and client/server environments


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years relevant professional experience or bachelor’s degree or combination
  • Strong digital mindset including experience implementing and maintaining BC/CM system of record (e.g., Archer, Noggin)
  • Advanced Excel and data analytics experience
  • Project Management experience preferred


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• CBCP, CBCI, NFPA 1600, ISO 22301 or other industry recognized certification preferred

• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience using RSA Archer Business Continuity Modules or other BC/CM applications
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills and a high level of professionalism

Compensation offered for this role is $60,100.00-$102,625.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
