Description

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Adolescent, Genetic and Reproductive Health (AGRH) Section, Oregon Reproductive Health (RH) Program in Portland, OR is recruiting for a Reproductive Health Nurse Consultant to provide expert consultation and technical assistance for the Oregon Reproductive Health (RH) Program. The RH Program is dedicated to ensuring people in Oregon have access to high-quality reproductive and sexual health services, knowledge, and resources through partnerships with clinics, community organizations, and policy makers. The RH Program provides program planning, policy development, guidance, organization, support and implementation for activities and projects related to ensuring that every person in Oregon has reproductive autonomy.


What will you do?
As the Reproductive Health Nurse Consultant, you will provide expert consultation, monitoring reviews, and technical assistance to facilitate successful implementation of RH Program requirements among a statewide network of clinical agencies. This position is responsible for leadership relevant to clinical reproductive health issues and for working collaboratively with the RH Program staff to assess and meet the needs of local programs for education, training, and on-site consultation. This position has primary responsibility for onsite clinical reviews of RH Program-certified agencies.



Requirements

Most of this work may be conducted remotely at an alternate worksite with full access to the needed operating systems and technology. However, there are times that the work will need to be conducted at the primary work location listed in this announcement, the Portland State Office Building located at 800 NE Oregon Street, Portland, OR 97232. Work location can be changed at any time due to the needs of the program.

What will you do?
As the Reproductive Health Access Fund (RHAF) Data Analyst, you will work independently and with a collaborative team to support the provision of high-quality, patient-centered reproductive health services within the program’s clinic network. The person in this role will perform the following duties:

  • Conduct monthly client eligibility verification processes by matching client data with data from other sources.

  • Resolve discrepancies in client information by comparing data from different sources.

  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports of enrollment data.

  • Provide technical assistance for clinic staff regarding client eligibility requirements and how to use the Reproductive Health Access Fund (RHAF) Eligibility Database.

  • Analyze enrollment and clinic visit data to understand utilization of services.

  • Collaborate with team members to interpret and summarize data in tabular, graphic, and written formats.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements

A bachelor's degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures;

OR

Two years of research experience using computer applications to help gather, compile, analyze, and report information and statistical data.

Requested Skills

  • Experience working with the principles of racial equity and reproductive justice.

  • Experience providing customer service and /or technical assistance.

  • Experience working with large data sets, including merging data sets.

  • Knowledge of clinical reproductive health services.

  • Experience promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment.

  • Experience using data management and statistical software such as SPSS, Stata, or SAS, including writing syntax.

  • Experience developing data visualizations using Excel and/or Tableau.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Teams and/or Zoom.
