Position Summary:

The Third-Party Nurse Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of third-party reproductive services, including egg donation, sperm donation, and gestational carrier (GC). This role involves direct patient care, communication with donors, recipients, and collaboration with the medical team to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Coordination and Care:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the patients, donors, intended parents and GCs throughout the treatment process.
• Conduct initial consultations and assessments with third party participants.
• Educate patients, donors, intended parents and GCs on the treatment process, protocols, and expectations.
• Coordinate and schedule medical appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits.
• Work with outside agencies and lawyers throughout the process to ensure all necessary cycle components are complete.

Clinical Management:

• Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Coordinate treatment cycles and order medication for all Third-Party patients
• Monitor and manage patient progress, including medication administration.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, embryologists, and other healthcare professions to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Ensure and maintain FDA compliance as applicable

Communication and Collaboration:

• Facilitate clear and effective communication between all parties involved in the treatment process.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients, donors and GCs as needed.
• Coordinate with legal, financial, and administrative teams to ensure all aspects of third-party reproduction are managed smoothly.

Quality Assurance and Improvement:

• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Stay current with advancements in reproductive medicine and third-party reproduction practices.

Education and Training:

• Provide education and training to staff on third-party reproduction protocols and procedures.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs to raise awareness about third-party reproduction options.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active nursing license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in reproductive medicine, fertility, or a related field, preferred.
• Strong understanding of third-party reproduction, including egg donation, sperm donation, and GC, preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and other relevant software applications.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Will include occasional weekends, approximately 6 a year, plus 1 holiday.
