Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Picayune, Mississippi - Low Volume, Weekend Call

Provide Labor and Delivery coverage with a manageable patient census and offsite call model.

Practice & Cases

- Inpatient Labor and Delivery coverage

- Average of 25-30 deliveries per month, including 7-10 C-sections

- Routine OB care with occasional emergency gynecology consults

- Support from an OB nurse, pediatrician, and CRNA

Schedule

- Weekend coverage blocks with 24-hour offsite call

- Must remain within 30 minutes of the facility while on call

- Optional onsite call room available

- Additional coverage opportunities may become available

Requirements

- Must be an MD or DO

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

- Active Mississippi license or Open to IMLC Physicians

- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Logistics

- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage provided

- Drive-in candidates preferred when possible
